A Note from the Director

Hi, My name is Andy Combs, the youth pastor at SVBC. I started this league to be able to make an impact in Winchester and the surrounding areas for God through Basketball. By developing this league I am able to share with you guys what Is truly important in life, which is coming to the “Saving” knowledge of JESUS CHRIST. So every once in a while before a game, you will hear a thought from either myself or someone that I have asked to share a little bit about who Christ is.

SIMPLE ILLSUSTRATION

I HAVE A GIFT OF 5 Dollars for you

Do you believe that I am a real person?

Do you believe that I actually own 5 dollars I could give to you?

DO YOU HAVE MY GIFT RIGHT NOW?

You don’t have my gift because we would have to meet somewhere and you would have to receive it.

Don't treat God that way!

Many people know there is a Gift (JESUS)

Many People know there is a Real GIFT GIVER (GOD)

but until you meet and you ask for the gift, please don’t think you're a Christian.

But when you do meet HIM and Ask HIM for that Gift,

GET READY, BECAUSE ITS THE GREATEST GIFT YOU COULD EVER GET. God offers us eternal life. "For God so loved the world that he gave his (GIFT) only son that whosoever believes on Him (GIFT GIVER) should not Perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE. " IN HEAVEN."

If you know God… Great
If you have heard of Christ… Great
Now you are ready to accept

Dear God
I don’t do things right, I am a sinner because I have broken your laws, I know that what I deserve is hell, and right now hell is all I have to live for, but God i heard you had a gift for me, a gift that will cover my sin, Jesus Blood, God i want that, I want that GIFT and I believe that you are holding Him for me, So God right now I want to trade my sins in for my gift of Salvation Through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Thank You God for saving me and giving me eternal life.

IN YOUR SON JESUS NAME
AMEN
